Web7 apr. 2024 · so my 87 yj 4.2 With Howell tbi threw codes 22 & 33, so I went ahead and replaced the Spark plugs, TPS, fuel filter, and MAP, to no avail I still have a rich issue, no smoke just gassy smell exhaust, bad mpg and a quiet Miss/sputter. the tbi was only installed 3years ago so things like the pump and regulator should be fine.
