I pretty much set it to zero since it adds too much top end even at the lowest settings. Going into the EQ and lowering the top frequencies might help with that. WebAny two button latching footswitch will work. If the footswitch comes with LEDs, you will likely need to clip the LEDs off, but it'll work fine after doing so. I could have picked up a used BB15 for $499 if I wanted to today, but I wanted something significantly lighter than my AC15C1 and loud as well, to have as a lighter gigging amp AND as a second amp at rehearsal. But once you get going you actually have quite a good alternative, and it free's up your footswitch slot. You can go down either a MIDI or Bluetooth option.
